Kenya U20 rugby (Chipu) head coach Simon Jawichre has made three changes and positional adjustments to the squad ahead of Wednesday’s Barthes U20 Trophy clash against Tunisia.
Wycliffe Ogutu, Clein Okumbi, and Brian Kiptanui will make their first starts in this year’s tournament.
Kenya U20 changes
Okumbi will slot into the second row alongside Eugene Etale, with Andy Cole Omollo moving to the back row to start as the open-side flanker.
He will join captain Edmond Omondi and Iddo Kuta in the back row, while Nathan Tsindoli moves to the bench.
Geylord Ngasi makes way for Wycliffe Ogutu in the front row, where Darrel Olouch and Bramwel Anekea will maintain their positions.

Among the backs, Eugene Ojiambo is replaced by Brian Kiptanui, prompting James Olela’s move to full-back.
Michael Wamalwa and Daniel Kipchirchir will continue in the midfield, while Patrick Wainana and Jackson Siketi retain their roles at scrum-half and fly-half, respectively.
Philip Okeyo and Faran Juma will remain on the bench as substitutes.
