Bungoma High School games emerged victorious in the Bungoma County Rugby 15s School games, defeating Kimobo High School with a score of 6-0 in the final.
The intense match saw Bungoma securing victory with two successful penalty kicks, as neither team conceded any tries throughout the game.
Both Bungoma High School and Kimobo High School will advance to represent the county in the upcoming Western Region Championship in Vihiga starting on March 19, 2024.
Bungoma High’s path to victory included a hard-fought semifinal against Teremi Boys, where they clinched a narrow 7-0 win with a single well-converted try
Meanwhile, Kimobo High faced a challenging journey to the finals, earning their spot with an 8-3 victory over Kamusinde, courtesy of a single unconverted try and a penalty.
