Kabras RFC halfback Dan Angwech is an emotional man after making the Kenya 15s national team traveling party to Uganda for the Victoria cup.
Angwech, who joined the Sugarmen in November 2016 from St Peters Mumias High School will be seeking to make his debut alongside Kenya Harlequins Paul Mutsami, KCB’s Peter Waitere and teammate Emmanuel Otieno.

“It’s an emotional moment for me, it’s a dream come true, God came through, and the hard work that I have been putting in has also paid off,” said the emotional Angwech in an interview with The Scrummage Africa.
Angwech made his Kabras debut as a young boy in the 2017 Kenya Cup season against Mwamba RFC, he is also a Kenya Cup and Enterprise Cup winner with Kabras (2022 and 2023).

Asked about his targets with the Simbas;
“I’m looking forward to a successful outing in Uganda, winning the Victoria Cup,” he stated.
The Simbas have been on residential training in Kakamega and left the country on Sunday.
The side coached by Carlos Katywa and Curtis Olago side will begin their campaign against Zambia on Wednesday,1 November before taking on hosts Uganda on Sunday 5th at Kings Park Stadium the fixture that will also double as the opening Elgon Cup tie.
