Kenya 7s coaching staff has named the squad that will be on duty in the Hong Kong 7s on March 28-30 and Singapore 7s on April 5-6, 2025.
Festus Shiasi has been called into the squad as teenager Jackson Siketi drops out. Jone Kubu, who made his debut last outing, has been retained for the second consecutive appearance.
Kenya 7s regulars
Patrick Odongo, who missed the final two days of the Vancouver 7s due to injury, has been retained. He joins fellow regulars Kevin Wekesa, Vincent Onyala, Denis Abukuse, Brian Tanga, Tony Omondi, and Nygel Amaitsa.
The captains will remain Samuel Asati and George Ooro. Kenya 7s, who finished last in Canada, will play in challenging Pool C alongside Spain, who are in fine form this season.
The pool also features Great Britain and France, all competing for a spot in the knockout rounds.
Pool A features Vancouver Sevens champions Argentina, who will face opposition from Fiji, the USA, and Ireland.
Pool B includes powerhouse teams South Africa, New Zealand, and Australia, with Uruguay also looking to make an impact.
