Menengai Oilers have made three changes to their squad ahead of the Driftwood 7s, set to take place at Mombasa Sports Club this weekend.

Speedster Dennis Abukuse, who has been a standout performer with 19 tries in the last two rounds and winner of the Impact Player Award, will miss the tournament.

Abukuse’s unavailable for Menengai Oilers

Abukuse’s absence, along with Kenya 7s teammate John Okoth, who suffered an injury at the Kabeberi 7s, and Samuel Ovuamu, creates space for fresh additions to the squad.

Returning to the team are Kenya Simbas fullback Timothy Okwemba, along with Kelvin Chebet and Eugene Lubanga.

Despite these changes, key players like Beldad Ogeta, Samuel Mwaura, Eric Ogutu, Elkeans Musonye, Steve Arunga, Amos Obae, and Alvin Khavoli remain in the lineup.
