Obae, recently signed from Nakuru RFC during the transfer window, will be keen to make his debut as the 13th player. He will join former St. Mary’s Yala standout Brian Achacha in the lineup.
Achacha, who played a key role in St. Mary’s Yala’s national victory and their appearance at the Nationals at the Bull Ring, is part of the squad alongside Lucky Byron, who has represented the Kenya Rugby League National team.

Another notable addition is Samuel Ovwamu, a new signing from the Varsity side Daystar Falcons. Alongside him, Eric Ogutu, Samuel Mwaura, Kelvin Kibet, and Clarkson Keegan are set to make their sevens debut after participating in the 15s season.
The team will be captained by Chrispin Shitundo, with Ogutu and Mwaura serving as his deputies. The squad also includes Steve Arunga, Eugene Lubanga, and Celestine Mboi.
The Oilers, who narrowly missed the title last season, face a challenging pool with matches against Mwamba RFC, MMUST Rugby Club, and UoE Trojans in Pool D. Coach Gibson Weru and his squad are determined to kick off the tournament with a strong performance.
