Kakamega School warmed up for the Kakamega County 7s games with convincing wins over Maseno School and Kapsabet Boys at Kakamega School Ground.
The Barbarians secured a 33-12 victory over Maseno School and defeated Kapsabet High School 33-5 in the second match.

These wins come after Kakamega School and Ikonyero clinched spots in the upcoming Kakamega County games, having finished as the top teams in the Kakamega Central sub-county games held on Saturday.
Kakamega School had an impressive performance in the four matches played on a round-robin basis, scoring a total of 169 points and conceding none.
They defeated Shieywe Secondary 55-0, Ebabwa Secondary School 29-0, and Shikoti 51-0.

Having struggled post-COVID, their 15s side being knocked out in the group stage of the western region games, the Barbarians’ sevens team showed promise by securing fourth place in their home tournament, Scrummage Katch 7s, although they lost to Koyonzo in the third-place playoff.
In the upcoming county games, Kakamega School will face strong competition from Koyonzo and Mukumu, the finalists in the sub-county games.
