His remarkable scoring abilities earned him the top scorer award, amassing an impressive 128 points, along with the Most Valuable Player accolade.

Continuing his stellar performance, Ambale made a significant impact on his East African 7s debut, clinching the top try scorer award with eight tries and five conversions, totaling 50 points.

In 2023, Ambale played a vital role in Butula’s historic triumph in the inaugural 15s title, securing the MVP award in the 2023 National Schools Rugby 15s competition.

Although he missed out on the 2023 East African Games, Ambale embarked on an exciting journey to the United Kingdom, facilitated by DBA Africa and former Kenya 7s coach Damian McGrath. He has continued to excel in the UK, showcasing impressive performances week after week.
