Kabras RFC coach Max Adaka has unveiled his squad for the upcoming Great Rift 10s tournament at Nakuru Athletics Club, and it includes United Kingdom-based talent Rayvonne Ambale.
Ambale, a product of the Kabras RFC academy, is poised to make his senior debut for the side after relocating to the United Kingdom.

His journey to the senior team began with impressive performances at the academy, where he initially earned a rugby scholarship to Butula High School.
During the 2022 KSSSA 7s Nationals, Ambale who plays at fly-half and at times at fullback showcased his exceptional skills, averaging three tries per match and totaling an outstanding 20 tries throughout the competition.
His remarkable scoring abilities earned him the top scorer award, amassing an impressive 128 points, along with the Most Valuable Player accolade.
Continuing his stellar performance, Ambale made a significant impact on his East African 7s debut, clinching the top try scorer award with eight tries and five conversions, totaling 50 points.

In 2023, Ambale played a vital role in Butula’s historic triumph in the inaugural 15s title, securing the MVP award in the 2023 National Schools Rugby 15s competition.
Although he missed out on the 2023 East African Games, Ambale embarked on an exciting journey to the United Kingdom, facilitated by DBA Africa and former Kenya 7s coach Damian McGrath. He has continued to excel in the UK, showcasing impressive performances week after week.

Ambale joins Kabras RFC squad that includes half-backs Dan Angwech, Collins Osore, and Eric Cantona, as well as players like Victor Otieno, Bede Enonda, Hillary Salano, and Humphrey Asiligwa.
The traveling forwards consist of Thomas Simiyu, Fortune Aturo, Collins Indeche, Biden Hayo, Gibson Perez, Clinton Litali, and Geoffrey Shitambasi, one of the team’s longest-serving players.
Kabras RFC find themselves in a pool alongside Strathmore Leos, Mean Machine, and Egerton Wasps as they aim for success in the upcoming tournament.
