National defending champions Butula Boys have delivered a massive second day comeback against St. Patrick’s Iten as they secure a 67-03 victory after sharing spoils with Kisii School in their day one fixture.
The team under Kwesa Adrian’s Captaincy saw 11 tries being scored, three in the first half and eight in the second half.
Michael Lukusi managed a hat-trick, Amani Reuben and John Onyango took home braces, the captain Kwesa, Daniel Wafula, Robert Carlos and Chadwick Omondi each managing a single try.

The game started with Gideon Kimutai’s drop goal setting the Saints on the early 03-00 lead before the defending champions Butula responded back with a well converted try.

The defending champions, having had a level match against Kisii in the day one encounter, demonstrated dominance as they ended the first half of the game 21-03 with all three tries well converted by Michael Lukusi.
In the second half, the Hawks extended their dominance with eight tries which saw only three being successfully converted to end the game 67-03 after the final whistle.
Kisii School Vs All Saints Embu
Kisii School failed to redeem themselves after they went down 06-03 against the Eastern region champions All Saints Embu in a rather tight match.
The game which was dominated by penalties saw Kisii losing control as they carried home a number of missed conversions as the All Saints took home the win courtesy of two well taken penalties.
The final Pool A matches will see Butula Boys taking on All Saints Embu as Kisii School face off St. Patrick’s Iten.
Pool B, Kitondo School will rub shoulders with the Coastal champions Marafa Boys as Lenana School take on Mang’u High.
