Asati, Onyala return for KCB Rugby ahead of Oilers date

KCB Rugby Head Coach Curtis Olago has included Kenyan International Vincent Onyala on the bench for the upcoming Kenya Cup semi-final clash against Menengai Oilers at the KCB Sports Club Ruaraka at 4:00 p.m.

Under the captaincy of scrumhalf Samuel Asati, the 23-man squad is set for battle. Returning to the squad after National team duty, Asati will partner with Brian Wahinya, who will don the number ten jersey, in the crucial playmaking role.

The front row boasts Oscar Sorano, James Ochieng’, and Wilhite Mususi, occupying the positions of outside prop, hooker, and inside prop, respectively.

In the second row, Emmanuel Silungi and Andycole Omollo will take on the roles of locks, wearing the number four and five jerseys, respectively.

Martin Owila and Felix Ojow complete the back row, flanking alongside Kolian Persian, who will play as the eighth man.

Bob Muhati and Trever Odawa form a formidable partnership as the starting centers, while Mike Wamalwa takes his place on the right wing, Darwin Mukidza holds the fort as the fullback, and Festus Shiasi secures the left flank as the blindside winger.
