Maseno School rugby have booked their spot in the Nyanza Region 15s games alongside second-place Nyabondo High School after they managed a 17-09 win in the finals.
Maseno managed three tries in the tight game with only one being successfully converted while Nyabondo managed only three penalties.
Winston Ngulu managed a brace scoring a back-to-back first and second try to tally the score 12-00 after the first try was successfully converted.
In the procession of the game, Nyabondo were awarded 3 penalties which were carefully taken as they struggled to level scores as the scoreboard read 12-09.
In the dying minutes of the game, Maseno School captain, Jaden, made use of a scrum down to penetrate through the gaps as he crossed the whitewash to stretch their lead 17-09 before the final whistle.
