2023/24 Western region Nationwide standings

In Western Zone A, Sigalala National Poly are currently on the top of the table with 13 points, having displaced Shamberere, Mbale and Bungoma.

They have a point difference of 55 after their third round. Bungoma, who have played two rounds, follow closely with 10 points and a superior point difference of 69, having scored 75 and conceded 6.

Mbale and Shamberere share the same points as Bungoma RFC after their third and fourth round, respectively.

Kibabii sit at position five with nine points, having played three rounds, and are followed by Webuye RFC who have played four rounds but have managed to secure only three points.

Vihiga Granites occupy the seventh position on the table after their first match, which earned them a point. Kimombo Altitude Team and Borderrucks are the two bottom teams on the Western Zone A log, each sitting with one point after playing four rounds.

In Western Zone B, Kisii RFC have maintained the top position, having played three rounds without losing, followed by Rongo University who have 13 points, which is two points less than Kisii RFC.

Kisii RFC scored 104 points and conceded only 6, leading to a superior point difference of 98.

EDITOR’S PICKS:

Position three is occupied by Homabay RFC with 10 points, having played three rounds, and they are followed by Kisii Kifaru who have secured four points after their third round.

Jaramogi University are in position five with three points after playing two rounds. They sit with a point difference of zero, having scored 28 and conceded the same. Siaya RFC are two points below Jaramogi with an inferior point difference of -50, having scored 13 and conceded 63.

Maseno University and Citam Kisumu are at the bottom of the log, respectively, after playing two rounds of the league. They have -2 points and a point difference of -54 and -55, respectively, having scored zero points.
