Rams RFC eliminate Impis to enter Uganda cup semis

Rams RFC eliminated Impis following a 19-11 win in the Uganda Cup quarterfinals to reach the semi-final of the competition.

Impis were first to score through a penalty scored by Jerome Tasiku before Rams quickly responded with also a penalty making scores level at 03-03.

Impis came in with the first try of the game through Martin Odong but the conversion was unsuccessful taking them ahead 08-03.

As halftime approached, the Rams scored their first try which they failed to convert making the scoreline draw 08-08 at halftime.

Moments after the game resumed Rams scored a penalty but Benjamin Dukisa came in also with a penalty bringing the scores level at 11-11.

Rams proved strong as they added a penalty and a try which they failed to convert but that did not deter them from winning as they led 19-11 by full time booking themselves a place in the semi-finals
