Kisumu RFC have announced the team’s lineup that features 23 men for their upcoming match against Nakuru RFC in the Kenya Cup.
The game will take place on Saturday, December 9th, 2023 at Jomo Kenyatta Stadium, Mamboleo, and the match will kick off at 3 pm.
Beus Nyangina will lead the team to the Kenya Cup match, with Walter Ambe as his assistant.
Ronny Onyango will start at hooker replacing Christopher Otieno. He joins the front row alongside loosehead prop Moses Amonde and tighthead Osodo Osiri.
In the second row, Cornel Byron and Victor Were will feature as locks for the second weekend.

Elvince Odhiambo will start as the blindside flanker, with Paul Amenya as the openside flanker and Nyangina at number 8.
Walter Ambe will be the scrum-half, and Isrel Makokha the fly-half. Morris Ochieng and Kitoi Aggrey will play as the inside and outside centre, respectively.
This is after Kitoi shifted from blind wing to midfield to fill the void left by Beverly Obuya who is benched. His place on the left wing has been taken by Alvin Kalori.
Right winger John Ochar and Washington Ochieng at fullback complete the first 15.
Kisumu’s bench options will include Alvin Magutu, Phil Opiyo, Okesi Tevin, Anthony Omondi, Peter Maroko, Caxton Aresi, Ian Omondi, and Beverly Obuya.
