Uganda Cup standings ahead of weekend matches

Heathens remain top in pool A of the Uganda Cup with 15 points, having scored 185 points and conceded only 10 in the third round.

They enjoy a superior point difference of 175. Rams are currently in second place with nine points. They have a positive deviation in their shoulder and have outperformed the Walukuba Barbarians, who are in third place with five points.

During their match against the Heathens, the Barbarians conceded 17 points and only managed to score three.

Kyambogo are currently in fourth place in the standings with one point. They have scored 10 points and conceded 45 points. On the other hand, Tooro Lions is currently at the bottom of the standings with no points. They have played three rounds so far and lost all of them, resulting in an inferior point difference of -268.

Group B teams have Black Pirates on the top with 10 points having earned five more points in their match against Elgon Wolves who they beat 39-03. They scored 74 points and conceded only 13 in their two matches.

Buffaloes are currently in second place on the log with nine points. They have played two rounds and scored 61 points while conceding 12. On the other hand, the Elgon Wolves have dropped to third place with five points. They have scored 43 points but conceded 39, showing a negative deviation from their position.

Kampani’s Eagles are fourth with the same points as Wolves and bottom on the log are Kitugum Lions without a point after losing all the throunds.

Group c has KOBs maintaining the top position on the log with 10 points having beaten Hurricanes 58-00 in a third-round match. They have so far scored 165 points and conceded none.

Plascon Mongers are currently second placed with 10 points followed by Hurricanes with 5 points after their two rounds.

Warriors are in fourth place with no points after playing two rounds, just like the bottom Mbarara Titans who have played three rounds and lost all.

Group D, Impis showed an incredible positive deviation from position three to one and added four points. They are followed by Jinja Hippos who have played two rounds and sitting with seven points.

Rhinos are currently in third place, having scored 67 points and conceded 47 in their two rounds. Lira Bulls follows with four points in their second round, and the bottom-placed team is Gulu City Falcons, who have no points as they have lost all their rounds. In the match between Impis and Falcons, Impis drilled 24-07 over  Falcons.
