Menengai Oilers Head Coach Gibson Weru has made three changes to his starting lineup to do battle against KCB Rugby Club in the ImpalaFloodies Semis this weekend.

Kenya SImbas International Elkeans Musonye makes his full debut in his much-favoured 8 jersey. Musonye replaces Jardon Abdon who played at blindside flank last weekend against hosts Impala. Abdon drops to the bench.

Other changes see Kenya Shujaa International John Okoth and Beldad Ogeta recalled. Ogeta replaces last weekend’s try scorer Herbert Ochieng in the left wing while Okoth slots into midfield alongside Johnstone Mung’au. Okoth displaces Steve Arunga who drops to the bench.

Editor’s picks

The front row remains untouched seeing as it produced three tries last weekend. Edwar Mwaura is joined by Vincent Mwikhali and Celestine Mboi while the second row has Captain Ibrahim Ayoo and Charles Osgood.

Samwel Were moves from the base of the scrum to blindside flank to accommodate Musonye. They are joined by yet another Kenya Simbas International  Brian Ndirangu in that loose forward trio

Weru also retains the halfback partnership of Andrew Odero and Abutwalib Wesonga. Mung’au and Okoth are on midfield duty while Ogeta joins Tony Oketch and last weekend’s brace hero Alvin Khavoli in the back three.

The bench sees the introduction of Francis Atiti and Clinton Odhiambo. They join the likes of Kevin Mukoyani, Samson Onsomu, Steve Arunga and Jardon Abdon
