Blak Blad hold off Strathmore Leos to reach Impala Floodlit semis

Blak Blad have proceeded to the Impala Floodlit semis after beating Strathmore Leos 17-13 in the quarterfinal played at Impala Club on Saturday.

Blad led following an early penalty by Kelvin Gathu while vice-captain Dennis Odhiambo landed a try for an 8-0 lead.

Gathu then drilled in two more penalties for a 14-0 lead before Leos pulled back following an unconverted try just before the break.

Kenyan International George Ooro landed another try for Leos and they also got a penalty for a 14-13  scoreline in favour of Blad.

Blad bagged another penalty for a 17-13 win.
