The 2023 Prescott Cup nationals competition is set for 12 to 14 October at the Ngong RFUEA Grounds in Nairobi.
After successful regional competition, winning teams from each region will battle for the national title, however, despite being knocked out by Koyonzo in the Western regional finals following a 5-0 loss, title holders Vihiga High School will have a chance to defend their title after landing a national slot on the invite basis.

However, Vihiga will have to be cautious of their arch rivals Koyonzo Stommers who have been dominant in all their meetings among the two.
The 2023 FEASSA reigning champions will be looking to win their first 15s national championship as their chances for winning this year’s KSSSA were shut down after receiving a ban for fielding an ineligible player.

The side heads to the tournament as favorites as they are yet to taste a defeat this year in all competitions this year.
The KRU-sponsored tourney will feature a total of 10 teams who qualified for the nationals. This year’s finals will be used as the curtain-raiser for the 2023 Impala floodlight tournament.
Last year’s finalists Kisii School will be seeking redemption having qualified after beating St.Marys school Yala in the Nyanza region finals.
