South Coast Pirates have announced the signing of utility back Brighton Omondi ‘Zangi’ from TUM Marines RFC.
He becomes their sixth signing and has previously turned out for Kisumu RFC. An alumnus of St Mary’s School, Yala is a third-year Bachelor of Sociology student at the Technical University of Mombasa.

He is confident that he will get exposure and improve his game at KRU Championship side.
“I want to thank the Almighty first. South Coast it’s a good platform and am privileged to join it for I know I’ll get the necessary exposure and experience and would also give me the ability to better up my skills as the game is concerned,” he told South Coast Pirates.

The pirates have signed James Ainea from Nationwide side TUM Marines and Utility forward Mohamed Hajj.
Hooker Sospeter Rofino has alos joined the club from Kenya Harlequins RFC on a five-year contract.
On Thursday, the club unveiled two new signings. The club announced the signing of former Kabras RFC and Kenya Harlequin back Kelly Akengo.
Akengo who has also played for MMUST and Jinja Hippos joined the club from Kabete Stallions RFC while Mikey Odhiambo joined as a lock from Kisumu RFC.
