Butula Boys have picked two wins in the ongoing Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association-KSSSA Rugby 15s National games being played in Eldoret.
The Western Region Champions beat Rift Valley Runners-up 27-10 to boost their chances of reaching their maiden semis on their debut.
2022 KSSSA 7s top scorer Rayvone Ambale bagged a brace of tries and conversion for the Busia based while Adrian Khwesa, Michael Macharia and scintillating fly-half Michael Lukusi bagged a try each for Butula.
St Antony’s try came from Iradi Ruto while Edgar Masika Wekesa added five points off the boot.
On Tuesday they whipped Kwale 62-0 and currently lead pool B.
Kisii pick KSSSA 15s win
Nyanza Champions Kisii bounced back to winning ways with a 28-0 win over Kwale High School.
Joseph Nyagaka Gitoi bagged a brace of tries while scrum-half Kevin Otieno Odhiambo and Robert Ongera Onsongo landed a try each.
Kisii and St Anthony Kitale have a win each and will be keen to reach the last four when they play Butula and Kwale respectively.
In Pool A, Eastern Champions All Saints impressive start to the campaign continued as they defeated Rift Valley Champions St Patrick Iten 24-7. They have picked back to back wins having beaten Mang’u 22-6 on day one.
The matches will continue on Thursday.
