Homabay School scooped the Homabay County Rugby 15s title on Saturday, defeating Agoro Sare 13-3 in the final.
Homabay dominated the competition, remaining unbeaten throughout their matches, including a 16-3 victory over Agoro Sare in the preliminary rounds and an 18-13 win over Mbita in their second match.
In the final match, Homabay edged out Gendia to reach top the pool and proceed in to the knockout stage.
In the semifinals, they recorded a 12-0 win over Wang’apala, while Agoro Sare secured a place in the final with a convincing 30-3 win over Orero.
Homabay will now join other county champions, including Kisii School and Maseno School, in the Nyanza region games at Kisii School.
Agoro Sare, who finished as county runners-up, are expected to participate in the competition alongside Nyabondo High School and Nduru boys.
