Transfers: Kabras RFC rope in six players ahead of Kenya Cup resumption

Kenya Cup defending Champions Kabras RFC have completed six signing in the mid-season transfer window.

According to list released by Kenya Rugby Union, Eliphaz Emong is set for another stint at Kabras having been resigned from Ugandan side Jinja Hippos. Emong, a back rower, was part of the Kabras squad before moving to Homeboyz and later returning to Uganda.

Kabras have also signed Impala Saracens prop Emmanuel Otieno and they have raided their neighbours MMUST for Biden Hayo, Phelix Bukhutse, speedster Lameck Ambetsa and Gibson Perez.

Perez, a hooker returns to Kabras for the second stint, having started his club career at the Lurambi based side.

Kabras have won their opening for matches and will be keen to impress in the final seven games to keep their title defence hopes alive.

The defending Champions are on 19 points and sit third on the Kenya Cup log , having scored 129 and conceded 25.

Carlos Katywa charges will face Homeboyz this weekend and seek to make it five out of five.
