Rift Valley Region Referee’s society will on Saturday 24 September hold an awarding ceremony for its member referees.
During the ceremony, the society will fete referees who were outstanding in the 2021/22 rugby season. Categories will include -Male and female referee of the season, referee of the year in the both the 15s and 7s categories.
Other categories include breakthrough referee of the season and overall referee.

“In a ceremony that is poised to be the first of its kind in the country, the RVRRS will hold their inaugural awards dinner this coming Saturday,” reads a statement by RVRRS.
“The ceremony is aimed at recognizing and appreciating the referees from the society who stood out during the 2021/22 season, both in Rugby 7s and 15s,” the statement further reads.
