FEASSA Rugby 7s and 15s final standings

The Federation of East African Secondary Schools Sports Association FEASSSA Rugby 7s and 15s  competitions ended on Wednesday with Hana International and Namilyango being crowned Champions.

Hana who scooped the Rugby 7s title won all their five matches in the competition and bagged maximum points to end the competition with 15 points. They scored 128 points and conceded 46.

Takes title from Upperhill

Hana takes the title from Kenyan side Upperhill School who failed to qualify for this tournament after they were knocked out at the National level.

The Nsangi Nsangi based school becomes the first Ugandan side to win the East African 7s title. Previous winners are Ste. Famille from Rwanda, St. Peter’s Mumias, Muhuri Muchiri and Upper Hill School.

Koyonzo who had an unblemished record in Kenya finished second with 12 points after four wins and one loss. There lone loss in their campaign was a 19-15 defeat in the hands of Hana on Monday.  Koyonzo scored 56 points and let in in 26 points.

Jinja SS had six points in the competition and settled for the third spot as Busia County  Champions and Kenyan National runners-up went home with six points following two wins in five matches played.

Ntaare had three points while Elerai failed to bag any point in the competition.

Namilyango had 15 points in three matches played in the 15s category. Buddo got nine points to claim silver.

Kenya did not field a team in the 15s category.
