Australia, Fiji, Samoa and New Zealand have all qualified for the semi-final of the Los Angeles 7s scheduled for Dignity park.

Australia eliminated Kenya 7s thanks to six tries for a 40-14 win in the first quarterfinal. They will now face Fiji in the first semi-final schedule for Monday morning East African Time.

Fiji’s win

Fiji beat hosts USA 28-12 following Joseva Talacolo’s brace of tries and tries from Kaminieli Rasaku and Viwa Naduvalo. Waisea Nacuqu and Filipe Sauturaga added the extras.

New Zealand have booked a date against Samoa in the second semi-final encounter.  New Zealand beat Ireland 29-12 thanks to tries from Joe Webber, Caleb Tangitau, Amanaki Nicole, Ngarohi McGarvey-Black and Lewis Ormond.

Samoa reached this stage after a 24-19 win over Argentina. Vaa Apelu Maliko, Steve Onosai, and a brace from Paul Scanlan ensured they sailed to the last four.

Kenya 7s have a fifth place semi-final against hosts USA while Argentina will play Ireland in the other semi-final.
