Butula High School Rugby Team are the Champions in Busia County Rugby 7s School Games held at Tingolo Primary School after a 42-0 win over Kolanya in the final held on Friday.
The side scored six converted tries in the final to march to the regionals. Kolanya and Mundika are also expected to feature in the regionals.
Kenya Under 20-star bags hattrick
Kenya Under 20-player Rayvone Ambale who was the Most Valuable Player bagged a hat trick of tries while Collins Omuodo got a brace of tries in their win. Reuben Amani had one try. Ambale strung in all the six conversions in the victory.
To reach this stage, Butula hit Nambale 54-0 in the semis and had pummeled Nanderema 61-0 in the quarters. In the group stage the side had an unblemished record whipping Kolanya 31-0 and Amukura 43-0.

Mundika settled for the third spot after beating Nambale in post-match drop kicks. This was after a 5-5 draw in regular time and 0-0 in extra time.
