MMUST Rugby have named their travelling squad for National 7s Sseries opener -Kabeberi 7s slated for RFUEA Nairobi on Saturday 21 and 22nd.
The Boys from Lurambi are coming fresh from a third-place finish in the just concluded Embu 7s a fortnight and Main Cup win in the Jinja 7s in Uganda.
William Muhanji, Reinhard Ngaira, Felix Wamocho, Okisai Derrick and Wonder Kid Eric Cantona have been picked for the tournament.
Also making the travelling party are speedy winger Lamech Ambetsa who is joined by Ngoko Collins, Nobert Lumbwani, Washington Ombima, Griffin Chao, Beacon Odhiambo and Mark Oluoch
Mmust will open the campaign against their rivals Kabras RFC in what has been termed as “Lurambi Derby” before facing another Kakamega based side Western Bulls and KCB in pool A.
On the other side their counterparts Western Bulls have also revealed their squad for Kabeberi with Andrew Odhiambo and Henry Odhiambo taking the leadership mantle as captain and deputy captain respectively.
The Kakamega side also has Speedster Eliab Barasa, Anthony Oduor,Nixon Manduku,Esteen Andayi,Denis Karakacha and Elvis Imbenzi.
