The Maseno School Opens (Amadi) 15s rugby tournament is underway, and after an exciting day one, the semi-final pairings have been confirmed.
In the first semi-final, Prescott National Champions Vihiga High will take on Kabianga, while Kisii will face Kamusinga in the second semi-final.
The opening day of the tournament saw some intense matches, with Vihiga High registering an emphatic 28-0 victory over Kamusinga.
Kabianga edged out Butula 5-3, while Kisii recorded a convincing 33-0 win over Chebuyusi.
In the second round of matches, Vihiga High continued their fine form with a 44-0 win over Emusire, while Kabianga recorded a 19-0 victory over Chebuyusi.
Kisii faced a tougher challenge in their second match but managed to come out on top with a hard-fought 13-8 victory over Butula.
Kamusinga bounced back with a 26-0 win over Emusire in their second match, while Kisii secured their place in the semi-finals with a narrow 8-0 win over Kabianga in their final match. Butula also recorded a 12-0 victory over Chebuyusi.
