Kabras name squad for 2025/26 Kenya Cup final as Dukisa, Tanga and Wekesa return

Kenya Cup holders Kabras RFC have announced their squad for the 2025/26 Kenya Cup final against KCB Rugby at the Kakamega Showground.

Head coach Carlos Katywa has handed Walter Okoth the number 10 jersey following the absence of injured Barry Robinson and suspended Jone Kubu, with Roy Maruti set to start at scrum-half.

In the back three, top points scorer Eric Cantona shifts to the right wing while Jackson Siketa moves to fullback in a positional switch.

Kabras have retained the midfield pairing of Bryson Adaka and Derrick Ashihundu. Up front, there are minimal changes, with Emmanuel Otieno coming in to start alongside Eugene Sifuna and Asuman Mugerwa in the front row.

EDITOR’S PICKS:

Hillary Odhiambo and Shem Joseph have once again been named in the second row, while George Nyambua, returning Patrick Lumumba,  who is also the club’s top try scorer, and Jeanson Misoga complete the starting XV.

On the bench, Kevin Wekesa, Brian Tanga and Ntabeni Dukisa, currently a back coach, have been included as Kabras look to add firepower in the second half of the final.
