The Nationwide League entered its fifth week of action with Kenya Prisons and Kabarak University emerging as top teams in the Central and Rift Valley conference respectively
Kenya Prisons continued their impressive start , recording four wins in four matches to be on top of the central standings with 20 points. They have scored 124 points and conceded just 10, marking them as one of the strongest defensive sides in the region.
Meru University and MKU Thika are tied on 15 points each with the two registering three wins in matches played. Embu RFC follows with 10 points having played four matches recording two wins, one loss and one draw .
Olive Rugby, Karatina University and Dedan Kimathi are also tied on 8 points each with all three sides recording two wins. Chuka Vikings and Meru RFC are also tied with 7 points each.
Kiambu Rugby and Muranga Trojans have endured a tougher start, sitting on 3 points and 1 point respectively.
Tharaka University and Kirinyaga RFC occupy the bottom of the standings with Kirinyaga RFC on -2 points after a heavy defeat.

Kabarak university have have maintained their top position in the Rift Valley conference, winning all their matches with bonus points to accumulate a maximum of 20 points.

UOE Trojans follow with 15 points after picking three wins and bonus point despite losing one match with 154 points and conceding 63 points.
Eldopoly Community have 14 points having successfully won all their three matches with 105 points and conceded 57 points, Molo RFC and Egerton Wasps sit with 10 and 11 points respectively each side having picked two wins in their matches.
Moi University and Kitale Polytechnic are also tied on 7 points each . NYS Scorpions and University of Kabianga Trojans have experienced a tougher start each having 6 and 3 points respectively.
Eldoret RFC and Nandi Bears occupy the bottom of the standings with Nandi Bears on -2 points mirroring Meru RFC struggle in the central region.
