The Nationwide League entered its second week of action with Dedan Kimathi University and Kabarak University emerging as the early pacesetters in the Central and Rift Valley conferences respectively.
Dedan Kimathi University continued their impressive start, recording two wins in two matches to sit top of the Central standings with 8 points.
They have scored 38 points and conceded just 8, marking them as one of the strongest defensive sides in the region.
Chuka Vikings follow closely with 5 points after picking up a win and a single bonus point despite losing one match.
MKU Thika, Kenya Prisons, and Meru University are also tied on 5 points each, with all three sides registering one win and bonus points to remain within touching distance of the summit.
Karatina University and Kiambu Rugby sit mid-table with 4 points each, having both collected a match victory. Embu RFC and Murang’a Trojans have endured tougher starts, sitting on 3 points and 1 point respectively.

Kirinyaga RFC and Meru RFC occupy the bottom of the standings, with Meru RFC on –2 points after suffering a heavy defeat combined with sanctions reflected in their bonus point tally.

Kabarak University have stamped authority early in the Rift Valley conference, winning both of their opening matches with bonus points to accumulate a maximum 10 points.
Their 82–6 points tally demonstrates a dominant attack backed by a strong defence.
Moi University and Molo RFC follow with 6 points each, both picking up wins and securing bonus points along the way.
UOE Trojans and Egerton Wasps complete the top five with 5 points apiece.
EldoPoly, Kitale Polytechnic, and Eldoret RFC are grouped in the middle of the table with 4, 3, and 0 points respectively.
University of Kabianga and NYS Scorpions remain winless, while Nandi Bears sit bottom with –2 points, mirroring Meru RFC’s struggles in the Central region.
