“We will be observing a moment of silence before kick-off today in honour of this great man. May his soul rest in eternal peace,” the club announced.
Odhiambo was one of Nakuru RFC’s longest-serving players and played a key role in their successes, including their 2014 Kenya Cup title and the 2015 National 7s Circuit triumph.
He later moved to Kisumu RFC, where he contributed to the team’s promotion to the Kenya Cup during Lawrence Buyachi’s coaching tenure.
