Kenya Morans ended day one of the Zambezi 7s Challenge on a high, winning both of their opening matches, with their last victory coming in a 36-0 thrashing of Pitbulls in Harare on Saturday evening.

Heading into this match, the Morans had already won their opener 41-0 and were keen to bag another win to join Zimbabwe and Zambia, who had also won their opening two matches, in finishing day one on a strong note.

The Morans grabbed a seven-pointer in the opening minutes, with Dennis Abukuse landing the first try of the game.

Kevin Wambua’s charges stretched the lead through National 7s Circuit top try scorer Victor Mola, who crossed over at the corner for a try that Rayvonne Ambale failed to convert.
