Uganda Cup Round 3 delivered another weekend of thrilling rugby action across the country, with top sides stamping their authority as the group stages edge closer to completion.
In the men’s category, Pirates continued their ruthless run with a dominant 98–10 win over Walukuba, maintaining their unbeaten streak and staying top of Group A with 14 points.
Heathens also showed their pedigree in Group D, outclassing Victoria Sharks 35–17 to hold firm at the summit of their pool.
Over in Group C, Kobs edged a spirited Buffaloes side 16–14 in a tense encounter, while Amara Kyambogo ground out a narrow 7–0 victory against Fort Portal Tyrants to keep their knockout hopes alive.

Elsewhere, Hippos and Rhinos continue to lead the charge in Group B, setting up an exciting finish as the battle for quarterfinal slots intensifies.
The women’s category saw She Wolves produce one of the standout performances of the tournament, running riot with a 100–0 demolition of Kigezi Queens to underline their dominance in Group B.
Panthers were equally impressive, securing a 38–0 shutout win over Mbale Eagles to remain top of Group A with nine points.
