The 2025 Uganda Cup is finally set to kick off this weekend with 12 matches lined up across different venues in Uganda.
The tournament returns to the schedule after it was postponed last year after extensive discussions involving the Uganda Rugby Union executive committee, club chairpersons, and other key stakeholders.
The decision aimed to prioritize player welfare after an intense stretch of competitions that saw players feature in the Uganda Rugby Championship, Uganda 7s Series, Safari 7s, and the recently concluded Elgon Cup, where two matches were played within a week.
