Kenya 7s head coach Kevin Wambua, together with chairman of selectors Elijah Toili, has unveiled a provisional squad of 48 players.
The squad is set to embark on the next critical phase of their rugby journey as part of the feeder program for Kenya’s senior sevens teams, Shujaa and Morans.

The squad will officially enter this phase on Monday, September 22, 2025, at the RFUEA Grounds in Nairobi, where players will undergo intensive training designed to test their skills, fitness, tactical awareness, and mental toughness while also instilling the discipline and resilience required at the highest level of international sevens rugby.
Among the new and promising faces named in the squad are Josephat Njunye (Nakuru RFC), Eugene Ojiambo (Mwamba Rugby), Dennis Ndayala (Mwamba Rugby), Nahashon Mwangemi (Mombasa SC Rugby), Dennis Nyongesa (Kenya Harlequins), Amon Bwambok (Impala Rugby), David Nyangige (Impala Rugby), Hassan Wambani (Catholic Monks), Brian Nyamboki (Catholic Monks) and Dennis Mulinge (Catholic Monks).
