Kenya Harlequin utility back Arnold Onzere has undergone anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) surgery on his left knee.
The club confirmed the development on Saturday, wishing the player a swift and strong recovery as he begins his rehabilitation.

The surgery comes less than two months before the start of the National 7s Circuit, where Quins will be hoping to defend the title they won last season.
As preparations intensify, the Ngong Road-based club unveiled a revamped technical bench. Simon Odongo has been named Deputy Head Coach and will double up as the Sevens and 15s Defence Coach.
Former KCB Rugby strength and conditioning coach Michael Shamiah joins Quins in the same role, while ex-Kenya 7s star Willy Ambaka has been added as an additional Strength and Conditioning Coach.

Veteran fly-half Patrice Agunda will lead the technical team, with Eden Agero serving as Assistant Coach in charge of Skills and Attack. Brian Oyiengo has been brought in to oversee development squads and women’s rugby.
On the women’s front, Kenya international Sheila Chajira takes over as Head Coach of the Women’s Team.
The physiotherapy unit will be led by Gerald Omondi, supported by Kate Muisyo and Kennedy Barua.
In team management, Wayne Mungei steps in as General Team Manager, while Christeve Wangila takes charge of the Women’s Team as Manager.
The 12-member technical and management team includes eight returnees from the previous setup and features nine individuals with senior international experience. All members have served in either coaching or management roles in the Kenya Cup.
