This will be the fourth different venue to host the historic Kabeberi Sevens in recent years, following previous editions at Railways Club, RFUEA Grounds, and Meru Stadium.

After three years of uncertainty, Mwamba Rugby Club secured a permanent base at the Goan Institute, a major milestone for the club, which had been without a stable home since their exit from the historic Nairobi Railway Club.

The landmark partnership, effective January 1, 2025, grants Mwamba access to the Goan Institute’s sports facilities, providing a stable environment for operations, training sessions, and match-day activities.

The comprehensive agreement also outlines designated days for field use, ensuring the smooth continuation of Mwamba’s programs across multiple leagues.

The Goan Institute Sports Ground will now serve as the official home for Mwamba’s men’s and women’s teams, who compete in four different leagues.
