The Eric Shirley Shield playoff matchups have been confirmed following the completion of the regular season.
KCB Rugby secured a direct spot in the semifinals after finishing top of the log, avoiding the playoff battle. Menengai Oilers also earned a home semifinal, suffering just one defeat throughout the season, which came against KCB.
In the first playoff fixture, Kabras RFC will host Blak Blad at the Kakamega Forest grounds. Kabras, who have reached back-to-back finals but skipped both, will be aiming for another deep run in the competition.

Blak Blad, on the other hand, have secured a playoff spot for the second consecutive season, finishing sixth once again. Last season, they lost their playoff clash against Oilers. The winner of this fixture will travel to Nakuru to face Oilers in the semifinals.
The second playoff will see a repeat of last year’s clash, with Nondescripts taking on Kenya Harlequin. After finishing fourth and fifth, respectively, the two sides will battle for a place in the semifinals. The winner will proceed to Ruaraka to face defending champions KCB.
