Nakuru RFC are still at the bottom of the Kenya Cup standings, with four rounds remaining before the conclusion of the league.
The two-time champions have failed to secure any points after seven rounds, suffering seven consecutive losses. The most recent defeat came during their away trip to Diani, where they faced South Coast Pirates.
Mwamba 2nd last in Kenya Cup
Mwamba RFC are also struggling, with just five points after losing to Kisumu RFC over the weekend. They’ve managed one win and one bonus point this season.
Meanwhile, South Coast Pirates’ win against Nakuru RFC saw them climb three points clear of the relegation zone, now sitting on a total of eight points.
Strathmore Leos, having secured their second consecutive victory, have moved five points above the relegation zone, with a total of 10 points.

Three teams are currently tied on 11 points: Impala, Blak Blad, and Kisumu RFC.
Impala have managed to leapfrog Blak Blad into sixth place, thanks to a superior point differential.
Blak Blad, despite having the same point total, have struggled with their point differential. Kisumu RFC, with their second win of the season against Mwamba RFC, are five points away from relegation.
At the top of the standings, the battle for a top-four finish remains intense. Nondies, with a 28-point tally, have a six-point cushion over Kenya Harlequin, who sit on 22 points after suffering three consecutive losses.
Nondies’ first loss of the season leaves them with fourth.
The race for the Cup semifinals is incredibly tight, with Menengai Oilers joining Kabras RFC and KCB Rugby at the top of the standings, all with a perfect record. T
hese three teams are separated only by point differential after maintaining their unbeaten streaks and consistently securing bonus points.
