Siketa back in fold for Kabras RFC; Omollo to make cameo debut vs Mwamba

Kabras RFC have made four changes to their starting lineup ahead of their Kenya Cup match against Mwamba RFC at Kakamega Showground on Saturday at 4:00 p.m.

Teddy Akala and Edward Mwaura have been named in the front row as hooker and prop, respectively, replacing Eugine Sifuna and Ephrahim Oduor, who both drop to the bench.

Emmanuel Otieno will continue in the front row alongside second-rowers Patrick Lumumba and Hillary Odhiambo.

Collins Indeche, enjoying a solid run of form, retains his place as openside flanker. This will be his fourth consecutive start of the season, in the absence of Kenyan international William Mwanji, who is traveling with the Kenya 7s team to Australia.

Gabriel Adero remains at number eight, filling in for Kenya Simbas’ Jeanson Misoga, who is unavailable.

Eric Cantona returns to fly-half after starting at fullback last weekend.

Walter Okoth will make his fifth consecutive start, partnering with Alvin Mutachi in the midfield in place of the injured Derrick Ashihundu, who scored five tries in the previous fixture against Mwamba.

In a tactical reshuffle, Alfred Orege moves to the left wing, while top try-scorer Griffin Chao shifts to the right wing, where he will continue his hunt for more tries.

Jackson Siketa, fresh from his training camp with the Kenya 7s, will make his second Kenya Cup appearance after impressing with a brace of tries against Kisumu.

Samuel Omollo signed from Catholic Monks in January has made the first 23 cut for the first time and could make his appearance off the bench.

Kabras RFC, with four consecutive wins, will be eager to extend their winning streak and continue their charge towards the top of the standings.
