KCB Rugby Club have released their starting squads for the much-anticipated Kenya Cup and ESS clashes against Mwamba RFC, scheduled for Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the RFUEA Grounds.
The Kenya Cup match, kicking off at 2:00 PM, sees Jack Adero anchoring the front row alongside Kenya Simbas duo Griffin Musila and Wilhite Mususi. In the second row, Emmanuel Silungi teams up with Davis Chenge.
The back row features the trio of Steve Wamai, Laban Kipsang making his first Kenya Cup start , and Peter Waitere.
At scrum-half, Michael Wanjala will control the pace of the game, while Emmanuel Opondo takes charge at fly-half. Club captain Jacob Ojee leads from the wing, supported by Austin Sikutwa and fullback Elvis Namusasi in the back three.
Bob Muhati and Levy Amunga complete the backline in the midfield. The bench includes Fidel Maina, Horus Alela, Erick Mheso, and other impact players ready to influence the game in its latter stages.

Earlier in the day, at 10:00 AM, the ESS team will take to the field with Thomas Okidia, Wilfred Waswa, and Patrick Ouko forming a powerful front row. Winston Macharia and Brian Munyali slot in as locks, while Manasseh Oduor, Felix Makokha, and Obungu Owade complete the dynamic forward pack.
The backline is led by scrum-half Ishmael Gorio and fly-half Smith Muhoya. Elphas Adunga and Elphas Omondi form the midfield partnership, with Bramwel Kilwake and Lionel Ajeliti taking their positions in the back three alongside winger Michael Kimwele.
The bench for the ESS team features a mix of experienced players and debutants, including Jenkins Kipruto and Isaac Njoroge, who are set to make their first appearances for the club.
