As the curtains closed on the 2024 National 7s Circuit, individual award winners were recognized for their exceptional performances throughout the season.
Menengai Oilers’ Dennis Abukuse, who has been a standout player, claimed the Top Try Scorer award despite featuring in only four tournaments.
National 7s Circuit top scorer
The Bungoma High School alumnus scored two tries during the Kakamega Ingo 7s before hitting his stride, recording 10 tries in the Dala 7s to win the top scorer award for that leg.

He followed that with nine tries during the Kabeberi 7s and capped off his run with another 10 tries in the Prinsloo 7s, bringing his season total to an impressive 31 tries.
Kenya Harlequin’s Amon Wamalwa emerged as the Top Points Scorer, playing a pivotal role in his team’s title campaign, which ended their 12-year wait for the National 7s Circuit championship.

In the women’s category, Kenya 7s star Judith Auma was awarded the Top Try Scorer title, while her teammate, Anne Goreti, earned the Top Points Scorer award for her stellar contributions throughout the season.
The Stallions team, following an impressive campaign that saw them finish in the top 12, were recognized with the Team Spirit award for their determined and spirited play.
