The Zimbabwe Sables have announced their squad for the highly anticipated Battle of Zambezi match against Zambia, scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Lusaka Grounds.
Tadiwa Gwashu, who featured for the Goshawks in the Mzansi Challenge in 2023, has been handed his full debut and will be playing on the left flank.

Brian Nyaude will start on the right flank, while Alden Burnette will be positioned at number eight, completing the back row.
The tight five comprises locks David Makamba and Kudakwasho Nyakufaringwa in the second row. The front row features Jeff Makoni, Simba Mandioma, and Neil Mawere.

Keegan Joubert will take on the scrum-half role, with Takudzwa Musingwini as the fly-half. Kudzai Mashawi and Dion Khumalo will be in the midfield, while Darrel Makwasha, Takudzwa Kumadiro, and Tadius Dzandiwandira have been tasked with the back three roles.
Bryon Chiang, Huntley Masterson, Colin Nyaoda, Simba Siraha, and Trevor Gurwe are set for their debut in this match as replacements.
The match will kick off at 4:00 p.m.
