Cheetahs backrower Amos Obae was named the Rugby Super Series Player of the Tournament as the franchise event concluded on Saturday evening.
The Nakuru RFC back rower demonstrated consistent performance, starting in all the matches throughout the one-month-long tournament held in Nairobi, Nakuru, and Kakamega.
Last weekend, Obae was named in the Team of the Week, having recorded 12 tackles, nine carries, and a try.
This weekend, he co-captained the side to lift the third Super Series title as the competition returned to the schedule after a 10-year hiatus.
He ended the tournament with 35 tackles, 29 carries, three turnovers and landed a try in the tournament.
