The pools have been announced as the 2024 edition of the Challenger competition enters it’s third and final round with Kenya 7s in Pool C.
There will be standalone women’s and men’s events at Henryk Reyman’s Municipal Stadium in Krakow, Poland and Dantestadion in Munich, Germany respectively on 18-19 May 2024.
The pool draw for the World Rugby HSBC sevens challenger 2024 final round took place at the Hong Kong in Wednesday ahead of the HSBC SVNS event this weekend and exciting match-ups are lined ahead.
In the Men poolings Uruguay who lead the standings are in pool A alongside hosts Germany, Georgia and Papua New Guinea while Hong Kong who bagged silver in Montevideo will face off with Uganda, Tonga and Mexico in pool B.
In pool C, Kenya 7s currently second placed in the standings are drawn together with Chile, Portugal and Japan.

In the women category event leaders China will battle it out with Thailand, Hong Kong China and and Czechia in pool A whereas second placed Argentina are in pool B drawn together with Uganda,Paraguay and Papua New Guinea.
In pool C Belgium are set to compete against Poland,Kenya and Mexico.
This will highlight the final round of Challenger competition 2024 which provides a clear promotion pathway to reach the pinnacle HSBC SVNS in 2025, with the top four placed men’s and women’s teams from the 2024 Challenger, based on cumulative series points at the conclusion of the third round, securing their opportunity to compete in the new high stakes relegation play-off competition at the SVNS Grand Final in Madrid on 31 May-2 June, 2024 against the teams ranked ninth to 12th from HSBC SVNS 2024.
