National 7s Circuit Champions KCB Rugby will play Nakuru RFC in the Kabeberi 7s final at RFUEA Grounds on Sunday.
The bankers are on course to defend the Kabeberi 7s after reaching the final following a 12-5 win over Nondies, ending their 10-match winning streak in the National 7s Circuit.
KCB lead in Kabeberi 7s
KCB led following tries from Levy Amunga and Brian Wahinya. Wahinya managed one conversion for a 12-0 lead at halftime.
In the second half, Nondies pulled back through Sankara Wafula but KCB hung on to reach the final.
In the second sem-final, Nakuru RFC beat their home town rival Menengai Oilers 21-17.
In the Nakuru Derby, Chrissant Ojwang produced a clear pair of heals to land the opening try, two minutes to halftime.
Eugene Lubanga pulled back for the Oilers off a kick before his try was converted for a 7-7 scoreline.
Elkeans Musonye landed the second try for a 12-7 lead.
In the second half, Steve Arunga stretched the lead to 17-14 before Nakuru scored off a kick by Javan Otieno.
Just like in the quarter-final, Amos Obae played a crucial role once again, this time rising off the ruck and bulldozing his way to score under the posts for a 21-17 lead. His try was enough to send the sid to the final.
