The SVNS 2 is an annual series of rugby sevens tournaments for national teams run by World Rugby, featuring both men’s and women’s events. Sponsored by global banking group HSBC, it represents the second tier of international sevens rugby, sitting between SVNS 3 and the elite SVNS circuit.
The 2026 edition marks the inaugural season of SVNS 2 and will be staged as a three-event series across the calendar. Teams on both the men’s and women’s tours will compete not only for tournament honours but also for promotion to the SVNS World Championship, with the top four teams at the end of the series earning promotion to the top tier.
The teams are set to make stops in Montevideo and Sao Paulo in the match for the final two rounds.
