The venue and kick-off time for the 2024/2025 Kenya Rugby Union nationwide league finals have been confirmed.
NYS Spades will face Kisii RFC on Saturday at 3PM at the NYS Headquarters in Ruaraka, Nairobi. Both teams have already secured promotion to the 2025/26 KRU Championship and will now battle for the nationwide league title.
Kisii RFC booked their place in the final after a hard-fought 13-6 playoff victory over Administration Police Warriors at Kisii High School, marking a successful end to their five-year wait for a return to the second tier.
The promotion is a sweet redemption for Kisii, who missed out last season after falling to Zetech University at the playoffs stage.

NYS Spades, meanwhile, secured their spot following a dramatic turn of events. They were initially eliminated in the quarterfinals after a narrow 6-3 defeat to Sigalagala National Polytechnic.
However, a successful protest revealed Sigalagala had fielded an ineligible player, leading the Leagues and Fixtures Committee (LFC) to overturn the result.
NYS Spades capitalized on their reprieve by edging Kenya Prisons, famously known as ‘The Berets,’ 14-12 in a tense playoff match clash at the Prison Staff College in Ruiru.
